Friday Under Pressure

It does feel like TGIF today, and yes, TGIF! Though screaming in joy might be a little bit early just now, as there are plans ahead that could complicate an otherwise joyous day's layout. Then again, the end of the year is coming and a lot of people and groups suddenly feel the rush to close up on things that have been lagging for, oh say... 11 months? Yep, that happens. I wouldn't mind it so much , except that it really annoys me when these people - pressed by time, feeling the deadlines breathing down their necks - try to push-press things forward, expecting mistakes and shortcomings to be overlooked (and then whet those explode, they would just step back and point at the very people they have pressed for a speedy forwarding, as them being the culprits of not catching the mistake), and actually have the nerve to blame others for what's their fault to begin with.

I would like to resource to my inner sanctuary and find mental peace to navigate through the waves of incompetence, but I can't even master a simple chaturanga in yoga, so I won't even try. Instead I'm gathering up my professional weapons, also known as Plan B, while coating myself and my work with teflon to avoid any responsability or blame to stick on me, when I'm clearly not the responsible. Hell, I really hate it when work starts to look like an episode of Game of Thrones.

Then again the workday will end at some point, and I'll be free. To celebrate and unclutter my mind, I have thought about checking out the Costa Rican Art Museum.

Museo de Arte Costarricense
I haven't been at a museum since I came back from Hungary, which is comprehensible given the few museums in Costa Rica, their odd opening hours (they keep office hours, so basically anyone working a regular job is bound from visiting them), and often also their poor and even uninteresting collections. Yeah, sad but true. I'm not a fan of contemporary art, specially because most of it looks to me like someone just heaped up a bunch of garbage, peed on it and displayed it in an otherwise empty gallery, so I hope to see something that really speaks to me today. We do have good artists, but so far I haven't found a single remarkable Costa Rican artist, so by checking I hope to find our Jesús de Soto or our Alejandro Otero (Venezuelan artists I admire).

Jesús de Soto: "Azul y Negro" (Blue and Black) Scupture displayed at the Chacaíto square.

Alejandro Otero: "Estructura Solar" (Solar Structure). Displayed at the Fine Arts Museum.
Who knows? Maybe today I'll be WOW-ed. ^_^

Oh Black Friday

Friday. Tired Friday, may I add, with a credit card that suddenly maxed on me (got immediately paid, so no damage there!), and waking up at the wee hours of the day to click check out on my cart at Amazon.com and get my Black Friday on the go. In some three hours and twenty minutes my work week is over, and you know what will I do? I'll go straight home, change into my pj's, climb into my bed, get under the covers and watch TV until I fall asleep, which most likely won't take me more than 20 minutes, if I'm lucky. 2 minutes if I'm not. And I still haven't seen "The Perfect Student" nor Margin Call, ans I really want to!

Why is it that this time of the year weeks seem to be much shorter than usually? Have you noticed that too? Things are piling up as well, as I have to plan out my gift lists - I plan to make most of the gifts myself, but others are not that simple - and then there are plans already in formation for 2013. :-)

However, be it as it may, my Black Friday purchases are done, and my only plan for the weekend are resumed to: rest, rest, rest, rest and sleep. :-) Oh, I have many, many good plans! Maybe some scrapbooking, some crocheting myself a new hat... anything relaxing. ^_^

Brushing on Moments Close To The Weekend

Friday at long last! I replied to one of my old, buried "pending" e-mails to a friend, and still have two to go. The weekend is slowly sliding all the way to us. Hope it will just last as long as it took to arrive. Sweet Hyne, this one has taken so long to arrive! Work has me currently in a mental deadlock as I'm trying to figure out something. Ah, you know, maths. I feel all borged* up trying to find the point where numbers would yield to me and make things clear again. If brains were a muscle, I'm sure mine would be all firm and bulging. Then again, due to the stiff deadlock I'm into right now, I could be joining  Tennessee Ernie Ford singing Sixteen Tons, or in my version "Sixteen TB's".

But not everything is work, work and more work. Yesterday my friend Al and I went to have our now customary Thrusday Tea. Weather was leaning towards rainy, but that wasn't so bad as the exceptionally bad traffic. My originally planned route was blocked because TRUCKS were snail speeding at bridge. Then self-entitled morons drove around like the road wasn't wet, nor were it packed with other cars. I would say than one day they'll have a crash and see the wrong of their way, but I know one too many imbecillic drivers to be so naive about their perception of the world. Costa Rica is the only place in the world where imbecillic drivers and incompentent local governments seem to dare each other about who can drive the rest of the population to stay out of the streets, as gaping, deep holes (including manholes with no covers) creep on you just like morons with Captain America complex. (I've seen outrageous bad driving in other places too, but there streets are usually drivable.)

After dodging the raging, motorized stupidity on the streets, I managed to get to the Post Office to drop a letter for a hopefully new penpal, then met with my friend for tea. Haven't gone out postcard hunting, so I'll have to leave that for the weekend, so I can flood later on my friends' mailboxes with them.

My friend Al was looking exceptional. After hitting a rough patch for some time, now she has picked up herself and whatever she's doing, she's looking fiiiiiine. New purpose in life and strenght that flows again through her like a goddess through her chosen oracles, reflect upon her with inner light setting on her beautiful, porcelain features, and her clothes, fitting and confident, show the change in the way she now sees herself. No more neglect, no more looking at herself as some sort of posession of someone else. Now she's her own person, fighting for a just and personal cause, realizing that yes, she deserves respect, happiness and opportunities, that's she's not to pay for the "priviledge" of being trampled over by others, who delight in abusing of her and using her to pin on her their own wrongs.

In the mean time I'm still flying high in the wings of limitless love. My lips itch... I want to kiss, kiss the world. My throat trembles as I want to laugh hard and sing at the same time. Borged up or not, as the thunder rushed through the sky and hits down in loud claps, lightning finds echo in my heart, as that whole energy seems to have be caught in a universal web of love and energy, part Earth, part lightning, part rain, part wind and I am the web and part of the web, and as strings cross through me, I'm conneted in and out of the world. With nature, with people, with energy, with spirits, ideas, concepts, books, maths... and love.

Isn't it... fabulous? Like an energetical bondage of love and energy.

*Borged: stupid reference to Borgs, from Star Trek. What I mean to say is that you get thinking all mathematics, in blocks, with no emotions, in a tight deadlock with numbers, while the rest of the world is feeling in emotions - cheap and valuable, fake and authentic - sighing in the throws of feelings and other human components.

Thoughts with Coffee

The store at the corner of my job got robbed around 8 am by gunmen, who shot three shots and run over a pedestrian while they were escaping. They got caught, though, and will probably get processes swiftly, and maybe just as swiftly let go after a ridiculous prison sentence, so that in a couple of years - if not a couple of months - they can come back and continue their burgeoning criminal lifestyle. Will this make it to the news? Nah, not likely. This is one of the many crimes commited in the capital city, so why would it make the news unless something truly amazing happens - okay, they did catch the robbers quite quickly... so maybe they'll be in the news after all.

That store was the one I used to go to every workday for the past three or four years to score myself some snacks or breakfast stuff (coke, yoghurt, Red Bull, croissant or bread, sour cream, salted and sliced green mango...you know, the usual breakfast stuff), except on those days that I felt really, really lazy and rather ordered breakfast from one of my favorite express companies, most often than not, from Bagelmens', because I'm crazy about bagels.

Most main streets are collapsed, and my Twitter is full of messages from people who got caught in yet another traffic jam caused by the Governments ultimate ineptitude AND lack of any care about fixing the General Cañas highway, which has been giving problems for a while now, but particularly since the "platina" case, and now with a rather large crater, further "sinkings" which end up also in a crash - because people here just don't drive like in Europe - turning a Friday morning drive to the office into an impromptu parking lot case. Imagine, waking up early in the morning and rushing only to get trapped into the dark machinery of a collapsed highway. It's like the Hunger Games: you don't even kill the engine because you want to believe, you want to hope that you will be able to make it. (BTW, I saw that movie again on the plane - I also saw Iron Lady, which I didn't like much, 21 Jump Street, which wasn't so bad, but I'm glad I didn't pay for it, and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and this time around I didn't like it much.)

I'm back in Costa Rica, to the amazement of many. A lot of my coworkers stare at me as if I just came back from the grave. "Holy Shit! She's alive!", and many ask why I came back, and all of them simply assume I must be devastated for being here. Weird, I'm not. It feels just like having taken the train to go to another city. A city with much more rain, much more criminality and wider lanes. Oh man, how I love to drive!! And how I love my car!

I'm acconditioning again both my place and my office, fixing meetings, appointments and dates with friends, banks and all sorts of bureaus. I'm loving the weather! I'm still deskless, which I hate, but as I slowly get back in track, things go falling in their old place. For how long? That's the question in many people's mind, but only a few know the answer, and that's the way it will remain.

Recent Daily Life Discoveries

I'm getting some trouble assembling my new List of 13 (8 tasks so far), mainly because I'm considering to go on a regime to lose some weight during Waxing Moon (the best time for diets), since not only I want to lose the extra pounds I've gotten, but I want to make space for all the awesome sweets there are to eat around here! ^_^ Nope, I won't look nice, fit and shapely for the summer, but I need to keep my weight within healthy values to keep on hogging on cakes.

After yesterday exhausting and beautiful day, today was a bit more calm, even though I ran some errands. I had a few things to take care of, such as getting myself a pair of black flipflops to be in the house - I've got a pair of fake crocks with those curved soles that are supposed to make you lose weight as you walk and work out your butt... they were the cheapest ones, so what tha flinking, right? I went to a commercial center in Buda, which I like a lot, but when I've got there I couldn't enter because it was being evacuated for a bomb threat. Go figure. Then again I guess everything was okay, because I heard explotion later on.

After this I went to another commercial center which is supposed to be bigger and better but was lacking of two very important things - as I found out today: it has no postal office nor a Subway (restaurant). It already doesn't have a Benetton - though it has an H&M and a C&A - nor a Pirex, which is my favorite paperstore, and their Mango store and Leroy restaurant is much better than the one at the bomb-mall, the surroundings are quite "misery-ridden" (lots and lots of dangerous looking people), though they do have a Karma restaurant - which makes an AMAZING Cosmopolitan cocktail, and shows more and better movies than the bomb-mall, I still prefer the bomb mall.

To top it all, they have a Starbucks coffee store that today had a long line. I was carrying in my bag a half-written letter, and I was looking forward to finish it calmly, sitting at a table with a Caramel Machiato, but no, a line of over 10 people waiting to place their order, a line so long that came out to the door, kept me from fulfilling a little dream of mine. The other Starbucks - where I started such letter - is right next to the bomb-mall (and there's another inside the bomb-mall), and that's simply fabulous. Granted, the coffee might not be as awesome as the coffee and capuccinos I've drank at Vienna, but I must admit that I love the vibe of the place. ^_^ Guilty pleasure, I guess.

Tomorrow I may go there - Hyne, I need to get inspired to the last five items on my List of 13 - and besides, I want to go and see what does it feel to type there, write there and be creative there. Must be something, even if the feeling is far from the elevating coffeehouse experience of the artists of the past turn of the century - the times of Art Nouveau.

Maybe I'll try it out, and tell you about it... while sipping a nice Venti sized capuccino. ^_^

The Old Fashioned Errands

This post is coming out really difficult this time. Talking to my friend Trish the other day (on the net, because we are a ocean apart from each other), about bloggers, popular and all the matter about traffic and I was rolling the thought around the matter, and even considering to ask her to synchronize posts with me on the subject. However, as the topic is still up and running, I haven't gotten around enought to grasp it and add to the previous post (Blogger(ina)). Instead I'm caught here in the middle of daily little matters, with a peanut butter and jam sandwich by my side, concerns I can't voice around (yet), nursing a cherry coke and thinking - already two hours into my work shift, and about 4 hours since waking up - how I would rather be at home right now, spread across the bed, under my comfy blanket, with the wamr sun shining through the blinds and me surfing the egde between being asleep and being awake, pulled equally by waking up and grabbing a book or a manga from my nightstand and read it, or sinking in again into sleep and find out how the dream goes.

It's Friday, but not any Friday as I've errands to run after work, I don't want to do on Saturday. Please, I need to rest! I want to rest! So this means that today - of all days - may finally come the day when I drive to a certain city part famous for lodging the most prestigious university of Costa Rica - and some private ones too - one of the most famous malls, being home to several politicians and local celebrities, housing many of the most known bars and restaurants... and having the worst cases of traffic jam. On a Friday. Yes. I've been trying to avoid going there, but there's no avail. I must get this done, and the only way I can do it is personally and there.

What? What could it be, you may ask. Perhaps you think I must meet someone on a personal matter that's too delicate to discuss over the phone or through e-mails. A secret love affaire that shall end now inspite of our mutual feelings... wrong. I'm not mushy, I don't have an affaire, and even if I did, the first to know would be my boyfriend (I'm just that open) so there would be nothing secret about it. Or maybe a friendship that went sour, so I'll meet my soon-to-be-ex-friend to a coffeehouse where I'll tell her what has she done to disappoint me so deeply and why I believe that terminating our friendship is the only acceptable next step. Plausible, specially when you consider that I don't shy away from terminating friendship and I have been complaining about how some of my acquintances have a special talent for whining, which consumes all their hability to "do something about it". Thought the idea is tempting, that's not my business in Traffic Town either. My business this time is actually closing an account with a company. Account? Like there's money and now I'll have some refound or something? Wishful thinking, and then again wrong. It's one of those cases where once upon a time you signed up for an account that was supposed to make your life easier, and for a while it did. However things have changed, you've downsized many things, simplified many others and there you are with this membership card, and tons of no longer wanted e-mails and account balance sheets long in 0 because you haven't been using the benefits of it, though you've been charged the membership every year without fail.

So I was thinking "I don't need this anymore, let's cancel it and have less clutter in my drawers. Let's simplify". Sure, let's do that, except that this organization that has offices in every corner, is unable to cancel the account unless you go to the very place where you opened it because "that's where they keep your record". So let me see if I get this right: we live in an age of technology... for quite a few decades now, AND there's such a thing called "messenger service" for records kept physically, AND there's an organization that can't close an account if it's not where it was opened? What if I moved to the other side of the planet and now I remember I've this account and want to close it? Take a plane and do the line? Unbelievable.

But that's it, folks, here I am on a Friday, with my coke and PB&J sandwich, with all great ideas for a post blocked because I can't recover from the enormous imbecility of one organization. At times like this I look at certain acquintances who are engineers and spend their lives without fixing anything, but boasting about all the things they could create, brushing away the toaster that needs to be fixed only to make some aesthetically offending contraption of the size of a big cat, that can light one Christmas lightbulb while measuring some waves nobody really cares about. Those you loooove to go around "well, say what you want, but you couldn't do your job if it wheren't for us and technology. You need us, we make the planet a better place and without us you would be in the Medieval times". Yeah, those, I'd like to grab them by the neck, show them my account and say: "so you are so cool and you can't fix this? You're so full of crap".

Today is trip-day, so please wish me luck. ^_^

Nice & Sunny

Oh yeah, it's Friday. It's a freaking sunny day - too sunny for my vampiric eyes - and the weather looks fine, and Dad flipped on me regarding the morning ride to the office and the after work car shopping. Yes, I still have no car. Allegedly we'll go see the cars tomorrow, all of them Hyundai Accents, one of the most carjacked cars in this side of the Mississipi. Well, that I want to see. When I commented my good friend Carrie about the new car-of-choice, she wasn't impressed at all, but rather threw me one of those dismissing glances that say "so you are going to get one of those no-personality cars". Yep, I'm gonna get a no personality car, but then again, after the ordeal with the Monza, I rather have a no personality car, cheap to maintain (long live low maintenance!), than a pretty ride, Chevrolet to it (like Dean's Impala), but with a whiny EMO personality. I certainly don't want a car I'll end up calling "Fucking Edward Culled Drop Dead at Once". You know what I mean, the always problematic ride you enjoy tormenting, telling it how you gonna get it gutted, leave it in the slums to be dismembered and collect the insurance.

However let's stay focused, and focus now means that it is a sunny day. For how long I have no idea, but so far it's sunny. Just to make sure, I took pictures. Unlike my friend Dragonfly, I'm not really into the sky, but working at the 15th floor with a lot of glare from the windows, and unintended reflections of oneself and the surroundings, the sky is pretty much all you can picture. Pictures were taken at 7:30 am, and they weren't originally intended for this post - this post wasn't even in my mind then - but for my other great friend, Sartassa. She dropped me a mail wishing me a nice and sunny day. Well, it was sunny. It was so freaking sunny the sun was burning my eyes, shining right into them. Should have pulled a CSI Miami.

From that earlier picture you can guess there's a tennis club right next to us. Yeah, it's kinda mean to have people playing tennis, or swimming in the pool while we are here, in this awkward tower locked in working. At that time it looks so refreshing, you wish you could dive right into it.

Things in here haven't really improved, though with the new schedules it's much easier to get to the cubicle at starting time, or leave it. Well, for those of us who enter before 7 am. The 6 am shift (mine) is a true blessing: free and swift elevators, no crowds, easy, peaceful start, giving you plenty of time to prepare for meetings, or answer e-mails from the day before and have the project well advanced for when the boss comes in asking for it. And then, you leave at 3:36 pm, to everybody's bitter envy. I'm happy with the "flexible workschedules", but still that hasn't fixed the loooooong lines at the elevator at 7 am, from noon to 2 pm, or later on at 4:30 pm and all the way up to 5:30 pm, not to mention, the shaky elevators that crack worse than an old man's knees, which broke on regular basis, giving unsuspecting passangers a sudden "trip of death".

Once a coworkers was joking about them, saying that it was exactly like at the amusement park: you make a 45 minute line for a 5 minute that might end up with a shrieking surprise.

But this is a sunny day, so - again - let's try to keep focused. Sunny and nice, as even if I brought delicious Lebanese food, I'll go out with my coworkers to pig on Doc Brown's, a "gourmet" hamburger diner, which is really not so much gourmet as a Costa Rican version of what you see in Triple-D (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives), where you can build, and I do mean BUILD your own hamburger. You may want to stay clear from that option if you have no self control, or you'll end up with a HUGE hamburger that will finish you, chew you, eat you and spit you. These monsters can fill any stomach. Work is also nice and relaxed. Ain't low, but it's under control.

Got a call early morning from an area that wasn't willing to cooperate with us before on a project we had to evaluate. It was interesting because the job wasn't clean cut and had a lot of flaws that mostly come out from lack of checking - or beta-reading as fanfickers say - mistakes some fresh eyes on the document would have detected and corrected in a flash, and then some others that revealed lack of information among the parties and also unwillingness to walk the extra mile. When the document was sent to us for check up, well, I was fresh eyes and saw the mess, so I asked them for the extra bits and pieces, as well as a thorough explanation so I could see where are they coming from. I received ATTITUDE. Really. Comments in my face about how I evidently can't read (!), and no, I won't get the information they ask me, and I can't possibly expect such a thorough work, that I must stop putting up obstacles, should be ashamed of myself, and that my job is not to question their work (!), but simply approve it (!!). Oh, and since we are on the matter, who died and made my area the boss? (uhhh, the fact that we work directly with the CEO and we are "the last frontier" anyone wishing to pass a project to him shall pass?) This all without me ever telling them I think they are full of it, and I believe that not only their figures are bogus, but that their ideas for this project are a bucked of it.

So I did my job. I prepared the evaluation with what I had and included an extensive list of every single mistake I've found. My bosses liked my report, and sent it forward, not changing a comma. The report arrived to the CEO the 7th. The 8th they were "calling me", though I received no calls and my phone lets me know . The 9th I received a letter from the head of the given area, though the letter had to be returned because it didn't had the attachment, and it took them three hours to get it to me - which is when I received the letter, which in my opinion was predated.

Today - nice and sunny day -  I received a call from the Matron herself demanding me what was the status on the report. I tried to dodge her, but she insisted. Should have told her that I wasn't authorized to give her that information, that she should ask my boss, but instead, pressed and looking to "not spoil her the fun", I've told her only what she already knew.

"It says we didn't have the information we required to do a proper evaluation of it."

Oh, I could tell she was pissed off. Probably she plans to use the received memo to prove they did send me the information, only that's received two days after the finished report was sent to the CEO, and even if predated, I was mean enough to write on it the date AND the time, so no doubts would rise on that matter. It upset me how she evidently tried, to the last moment to undermine us instead of seeing in our intervention a chance to improve. Their defensiveness, their blunt attacking instead of working together, her prepotent declaring that she would back up the work of her people - only to change such a decided affirmation on the minute for "trust their work" - and evidently seeking to take us off the game. Well, we ain't going anywhere, particularly not now, when their strategies failed and we are here to stay. Oh yeah, and unlike they wanted it, us taking their methodology to work,  it will be them taking ours.

When I told my boss their schemes, he simply smiled amused and said that our reply was sent, it was done and they should have thought better before they brought their attitude problems to the table. He's right. So much could have been achieved with just a little of cooperation from their side. Hell, I was willing to do their job for them! Oh well, that's the power of pride used wrongfully.

This week, also I was informed officially that I was going to be promoted, and I received my paycheck notice - due for next week - with a nice sum. ^_^ First I wasn't convinced, because the number seemed familiar, so I checked the last notice and the amount was hardly higher! I felt ripped off! But after investigating a bit, I realized that the last paycheck had the "retroactive" of the last general raise, so... ^_^ My new wage is somewhat higher, so with my first promotion in 7 years, thanks to my Ultimate Favorite Boss, who is, BTW, the ABSOLUTE BEST BOSS (okay, maybe only second to the Non-Plus-Ultra RBF, who is the Saint Patron of Best Bosses).

Today, on this nice and sunny day I heard about this huge machinery moving its bowels again, and so we will be moved again, though mainly placed a scale higher - no mass promotions -  and add to it, I won't lose my Super Awesome Boss.

I've got two ultra fabulous pants and two ultra great sandals, and I'm wearing one of them with my brand new Naf Naf blouse, my hair is perfect, my life is even more perfect, I love my boyfriend, my penpals are all fabulous, I'm replying one of them and words pour out of me like you've no idea, the car business, though somewhat slow, is going awesome, the NFL is around the corner, I had a premium Happy Meal yesterday for the Children's Day, and so, in a nutshell, this was a great week, with an even greater Friday, as part all of a Great Life.

It's Awesome to be Me.

International TGIF day?

Given the fact that Dad managed to get himself yet another sick-leave (and I'm positive it's some ruse he and some friendly doc are cooking up, because nobody gets so many days ever so often for a hurting wrist), my options to reach the office were either take a caravan of buses or ask a coworker to give me a ride. Since this particular coworker, Smurf, pointedly asked why have I stopped going with him, I decided to call him and ask him if he can give me a ride. Well, that and the fact that his girlfriend is simply adorable and the sweetest, most precious person I have met made me jump at the open offer and call them early. Andy, the adorable Smurfette, picked up the phone and said, God bless her tender soul, that sure thing.

So they gave me a ride. After greeting, Andy's first comment was "Finally Friday!" with such a festive, happy countenance as if it were some long awaited holiday. Then again, for a Friday that's not an unusual expression, but it struck me that gathered, overworked, quite Andy would make such an enthusiastic exclamation before me, after all we are not kin nor we are coworkers or best friends, just friendly acquintances. Perhaps what struck me was the source, not so much the content of the exclamation or the tone itself. Well, Patrick knows. Either way, surprising or not, it was  - well - a true statement.

Then, after fulfilling my due-diligence with a task left from yesterday (Oh dear Patrick, Carrie!!! It was so AWESOME!!! Gonna go over it again and again and again! Totally... wow!), I leaped up to the net, came here and what do I see but Dragonfly also celebrating the Friday. My coworkers also, in disorganized chorus, sighed this day with relieve and joy, planning even, signing up to a hearty lunch complete with a good, cool bottle of beer. On a week day? Never. On Friday? A must.

I myself, since I don't have any date with any of my friends - sad but true -  was thinking about tying my weekly NCIS with a nice, cold bottle of Smirnoff Ice. (I'm not much of an alone beer drinker, but I totally adore drinking Smirnoff while watching TV.) It is Friday after all and the world seems to be consumed in celebrating it, so why wouldn't I? (Specially when tomorrow I'll have this AWESOME 4-5 hour White Collar marathon?) So, in face of the facts presented, yes, I will celebrate this Friday, and hope everybody else is also up to do so.

Once again a week has gone by without me either mailing Calendulina's letter nor getting on with Sonja's letter. It has gone by without meeting with Shimmy Gin, whom I'm missing like Hell, not meeting with Carrie, and boy we need to meet! Then again, Carrie and I fixed this thing yesterday over a one hour phone conversation: we will meet on Monday in order to gap about how awesome this week's and last week's Supernatural episode was (hope this week's is good, 'coz ain't haven't seen it yet, but last week's was a freaking Oh-Dear-Patrick! with all the "Your demon lover, Brady" and "Did you kissed him?" and holding, grabbing, pulling, trumping over each other and awkward hand landing on hip-ass- upper (VERY UPPER) thigh. One word there, I don't know about Dean, but Jensen did lost all his male-touch-virtue (if such a thing exists) there), and then delve into the Sweet-Patrick-White Collar-is-heaven-and-Neal-is-awesome followed by the deep, intellectual, philosophical discussion over whether Neal Caffrey is or is not one of the Ukes of Destiny. My money is on "yes", and I'll do my best to prove my point. I mean, he is not a Mochizuki, that's granted - though if you look up to it closely.... - but he is quite Ryo Maclean quite often, or a Draco-in-Draco-Snape, as we concluded yesterday, and he can hardly go seme, specially when he bows to El, so yeah, he IS a total uke. But that is next week Monday. This week Friday is "pass da booze, brotha!"

Peace out.

P.D.: Thanks to Smurf for providing a picture of the Smurf-mobil.
