Resurrection Sunday

Today the Christian world celebrates one of the most important milestones of our faith: the Resurrection of Jesus. It marks the last day of celebrations -  in many parts of the Christian world, and the competition of Jesus' mission.

After 33 years of life - the last three of which He dedicated Himself to work on His Holy Father's Business - as He Himself so well worded it - winning the hearts of the people not only with His breathtaking miracles and healing, but also with His ever resonating words. The cunning and bitter envy of man - to which all of us are subjected to - He was unfairly treated, betrayed, judged under misleading, false pretenses, subjected to corrupted juries and audiences, and finally condemned in the worst and most undeserving of ways. And yet, He conquered them all, strong in His Truth, and defeated obstacles and threats unsurmontable for anyone, unthinkable for us, thus showing not only who He was, but also the power of the Faith He had talked about. I personally believe this Faith to be independent of religion, and linked only to God and the way you understand God.

This celebration gives as a wonderful oportunity to meditate on the amazing, unbelievable truths that lie underneath our faith and our destiny. It's a moment to meditate on hope, not only on leaving all our past grievances behind, on forgiving the wrongs done to us, but also a moment to meditate on defeating on the judgments and injuries we subject ourselves to.  Defeat the thoughts that rell you that you are too weak, too fat, too thin, too ugly, too inadecuate. Defeat the thoughts that tell you you are not good enough, that you are inadecuate, that you'll never have a chance at something. Give yourself a chance to climb out of the grave you've been burried, wake up to the life, to the light, to hope, wash away all problems, all issues, all insecurities and aynthing that keeps you from seeing your goal clearly, from reaching it. Pray for a clear path towards your dreams, for swifter steps towards the completition of your project, for a safer trip, for a happier way.

Christian or not, today is a good day to meditate about your life, what keeps you from reaching your goals, what keeps you from being happy, from reaching completition. Meditate, pray, spell, celebrate... your life and the lessons we learn are right before you.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Happy Easter to you!!!
I hope you're having a wonderful time. I was touched by what you wrote and thought: maybe it's not a coincidence that it happened now that I got aspects of my faith back. Not in a religion as such, but in general. Easter is a celebration of life, it's a happy holiday that brings hopes. In my case it does.

Happy Easter to you too, Darling! I'm glad you've found something that talked to you in my post! That made the effort worthwhile!

It's strange, but there where I see the cycle in Pagan rituals, I see Christianity celebrations talking to certain aspects of life, tests and difficult moments that can occur "out of the clock". You know what I mean?
